G45's "A Ladies' Diary" Mini Page Swap...

Whew! It is definitely cold & flu season! And my entire family is definitely feeling it! I really HATE being sick... You know how some people are like "Oh get me sick! I won't have to go to work/ school then!" Well, let me tell you right now... give me work or school (or even both!) ANY day! At least you can get off work or out of school and enjoy the rest of your evening and then sleep like a baby at night.  When you're sick... there's NO WAY it's gonna give you a break! No relaxing or good night's sleep or even CRAFTING for you! Oh no... it's feeling like a huge pile of crap with all the aches and pains and headaches, stuffed up, runny nose, congestion and mucus for you! UGH & ICK!

Okie, enough of the ranting... it's not really going to do anyone (esp me!) any good complaining about it... So... now that I have enough energy and time... here's another Graphic 45 "A Ladies' Diary" project I'd like to share... It's a 6"x6" mini page swap hosted by Krystal (who also hosted the tag swap) over at the Scrap Beach...
This is the first side.  The part showing in the picture is actually the flap that opens up to two pockets inside.  On top of the flap is a working picture frame for a 3" x 4" picture.  There's a spray of flowers on the bottom left hand corner, and to balance that out, there's a little charm thing I made on the top right hand corner.  One of the requirements for swap was that we were supposed to make something handmade out of the paper collection... so I decided to make the little paper beads dangling from the picture charm.
Here's what the inside of the flap looks like... There's pockets on both the inside of the flap and on the main page itself.  On the left side, that tag is actually a little swivel mini book...

The second page is a lot simpler...
It's a gatefold type of page with a magnetic closure.  I just decorated a couple of the corners with some I Am Roses flowers and some bead sprays.  Nothing too elaborate...
The inside is also pretty simple... There's pockets on both sides of the flaps for little tags or journaling notes to be tucked into.  I was going to put a photo mat on the inside... but then I decided not to so that the ladies who receive the pages could use the space for a really big photo such as a 6 x 4 or 5 x 3.5... They could also add in an extra pocket if they wanted to... I just really wanted the space to be a bit more versatile to their needs...

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed my project! I did make a video of this, but I'm still deciding if I want to post it now or later when I have the rest of the pages and finish putting the entire album together.  But, either way, when I do decide to post up the video, I'll be sure to add it to this post! :D

Thanks for stopping by!

G45's "A Ladies' Diary" Tag Swap

Hey everyone!

I'm back to share with you another "catching up" project I've completed! This swap was from The Scrap Beach and was hosted by Krystal. It was a tag swap featuring Graphic 45's "A Ladies' Diary" collection! Here's the video I did about it...

Sorry I don't have a photo... I completely forgot to take one before mailing everything out and I haven't done my tag for the set yet because I'm really just concentrating on trying to get everyone else's things out first!

Anyways, hope you enjoyed my tag project! I'll be back real soon! :D
